Thomas Fliedner, MD
Thomas S. Fliedner, M.D. is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who specializes in comprehensive wellness and healthcare for women. He has been practicing in the Flower Mound and Lewisville communities since 2000. He obtained his medical degree in New Jersey and completed his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Parkland’s obstetrics and gynecology residency program is considered one of the finest training programs in the United States, and the volume of deliveries performed at the hospital routinely ranks among the highest in the nation.
His practice focuses on high and low-risk pregnancies, pregnancy planning, contraception, abnormal uterine bleeding, infections, pelvic pain, and urinary control concerns. Dr. Fliedner uses the latest technology and is proficient in the da Vinci robot system. The da Vinci Surgical System is a sophisticated robotic platform designed to expand a surgeon’s capabilities and offers a state-of-the-art minimally invasive option for major surgery.
Dr. Fliedner’s latest studies have been on BioTE Medical, a hormonal replacement therapy and wellness program. After much time spent in research, training, certification, and personal experience, he has become a firm believer and offers bioidentical hormone replacement therapy at his clinic, North Texas Vitality.
Dr. Fliedner strives for a partnership with his patients, one in which they are a part of the decision-making process in their healthcare needs.
